About Nature's For You
My name's Diane Simon and I live on a little island called Grand Manan in the Bay of Fundy, in the southern tip of New Brunswick, Canada, with my best friend Bruce, our dog, Shadow, and cat, Taz. We can actually see the coast of Maine from the south end of our island! Grand Manan is only accessible by ferry and life here is very simple and quiet - which I just love at my age. There are no traffic lights, only one grocery store, one school with the library in it and movie night once a month, one hardware and furniture store, one drug store, two post offices ... you get the idea. If I stand outside on the back porch more often than not all I can hear is the sound of the waves and the sea gulls. At 63 years of age, I appreciate this peaceful and simple kind of life.
Bruce and I moved here in 2009 after closing our "real" bricks and mortar store in Owen Sound, Ontario, which was called Nature's Bounty. He was my business partner at the time and we sold some of the same products I do now, although I've added on many more in the years since then. When we first opened Nature's Bounty in 2004, we made a rule that everything we sold would be made from something natural or reflect nature in some way. To our great surprise, one section of the store took on a mind of its own and turned into a “New Age” department. I've learned so much since then and absolutely love the products I feel privileged to sell - things our loving Creator put on this earth for our use and enjoyment.
I've always been a "believer" but must confess I haven't been to church since my late twenties, even though I attended a bible college for a year when I was 22. However, I've read a humungous amount of spiritual books and have come to believe all religions are just different ways for different kinds of people to find their own unique way to God or whatever they want to call their higher power. I've become more of a spiritual person since then rather than religious as such. I guess one could say I believe more in metaphysics and manifestation, and the gifts and abilities that our loving Creator has given us. I've had many ups and downs in my life and have learned over the years, especially my latter ones, that no matter how grim things might appear, there are limitless possibilities ahead of us and that our loving Creator always has our best interests loving at heart. One of my favourite authors on this subject is Mike Dooley. He has an excellent video on how Thoughts Become Things and I subscribe to his daily newsletter Notes From the Universe which is short, humorous and enlightening - as well as a reminder that I'm a part of something much bigger and that my dreams are constantly being realized.
I'm not a guru, nor a crystal healer nor specialist of any kind. But I am a wee bit of a nut or perhaps even admit a kookoo maniac when it comes to learning about and providing as much information as possible - both on my website and included with the purchase of the products that I sell. I also spend a lot of time (but love doing it) sorting and sizing all of the stones and crystals that I sell, weighing each individual one in 5 to 10 gram increments so that I can charge the fairest price possible.
The motto for Naturesforyou.com - Products to Heal and Harmonize Mind Body and Soul - is my acknowledgement that it is Source Energy that makes that possible!
I strive to provide quality products at the best prices possible and to treat my customers as unique individuals who I share the life force (love) with, always remembering that we are all connected and one in spirit.
Customer Service Principles
Basically, I try my best to treat my customers by the "Golden Rule", to treat them as I would like to be treated myself.
- I treat my customers as I wish to be treated and follow-up on my commitments consistently and in a timely manner.
- I strive to help my customers understand the "light and healing" properties of my products.
- I am willing to meet my customers needs with friendliness, love, flexibility and openness.

- I am even more honored (and most blessed) to be able to sell beautiful AND beneficial things that our loving Creator placed on Mother Earth for our healing and blessing!
